From the Denver Post:
Denver-area home values show strength
Home prices in the Denver area fell by only 4.3 percent in the year ended in November, the second-best performance of 20 cities tracked by the closely watched S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices released today. Only Dallas, with a 3.3 percent decline, fared better. The overall drop of the 20 metro areas was 18.2 percent. And Denver, with a 1.1 percent home value decline in November, showed the smallest drop of any of the areas. Denver’s drop was half the 2.2 percent decline of the 20 cities. Home values in most cities continued to decline at unprecedented levels. Eleven of the cities showed record rates of declines.
