This is the 4th article in a row from the DP talking about the improving housing market.

Contrary to the comments section on the DP, I will tell you that certain areas are still in decline and not a good investment. HOWEVER, there are many areas holding steady and increasing in value.

Key Paragraph:

Data released Tuesday showed that 4,265 homes were sold in September, up 14.1 percent from September 2007. The inventory of unsold homes declined 21.1 percent to 23,923 for the same period.
